These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EduTechMonitor mobile application (EMonitor app), the website edutechmonitor.com, and all related web and API services (together, the "Platform"), operated by Sajre Edutech Private Limited ("Sajre Edutech", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in India (CIN U85500KA2022PTC157343) with its registered office at Survey 63/2A, Plot 50, 1st Floor, H.D. Kallimani Complex, Hashminagar, Opp. Quba Masjid, Dharwad, Karnataka 580008, India. By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

Ownership notice: The Platform, the EduTechMonitor (also written EduTech Monitor) and EMonitor names and logos, the website edutechmonitor.com, and all associated software, source code, designs and content are the exclusive property of Sajre Edutech Private Limited. All rights are reserved. Unauthorised copying, reproduction, distribution, reverse-engineering or commercial use is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

1. Who May Use the Platform

The Platform is provided to schools and educational institutions ("Schools") and, through them, to their authorised administrators, staff, students and parents/guardians ("Users").
Accounts are created and managed by the School or by Sajre Edutech on the School's instruction. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
If you are a parent or guardian using the Platform on behalf of a minor, you do so as the child's legal representative and accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Access data or accounts that do not belong to you, or attempt to bypass security, authentication or role permissions;
Upload unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content, or content that violates the privacy or rights of others;
Disrupt, overload, probe or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or its infrastructure;
Copy, scrape, resell, sublicense or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our written permission.

3. School Data and Roles

Each School decides what student and staff information is entered into the Platform and is the owner ("data controller") of that information. Sajre Edutech processes this information only to operate the Platform, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information and do not use children's information for advertising.

4. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Platform — including software, source code, user interfaces, designs, graphics, logos, trademarks and documentation — belong to Sajre Edutech Private Limited or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant Schools and their Users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Platform for the ordinary internal operations of the School. No other rights are granted.

5. Fees and Subscriptions

Where the Platform is provided on a paid basis, applicable fees, billing cycles and payment terms are as agreed between the School and Sajre Edutech. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which includes a 21-day money-back guarantee on a School's first payment. We may revise pricing on reasonable notice.

6. Availability and Support

We aim to keep the Platform available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, updates or changes, and may suspend access where necessary to protect the Platform, its Users, or to comply with law.

7. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Schools remain responsible for the accuracy of the records they enter and for their own compliance obligations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sajre Edutech Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of data, revenue or goodwill, arising from the use of or inability to use the Platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law. On termination, the right to use the Platform ends. Schools may request export of their data as described in the Privacy Policy, subject to any lawful retention requirements.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hubli-Dharwad, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform, subject to applicable law.
